⏱ 180-Day Rule
Per CMMC Assessment Process (CAP) v2.0, all POA&M items must be closed within 180 calendar days of assessment completion. Items not closed by the deadline result in loss of Conditional certification. DIBCAC may conduct a closeout review. Plan remediation milestones to close all items with buffer time.
